WB Moore was selected as the Division 16 Electrical Contractor for renovations and upgrades to the Emissions Monitoring System, as well as engineering and design of new Chemistry Lab additions at the River Bend Steam Station.  This detailed and complex project consisted of the following -

1. Unit #4 - Modifications involved the addition of four (4) SOFA air dampers, two (2) CO monitors, four (4) O2 probes, one (1) Reheat Spray Valve, one (1) Reheat Block Valve, one (1) Superheat Block Valve and one WDPF DPU control cabinet.  2. Unit #7 (Design/Engineering) - Modifications involved the addition of four (4) SOFA air dampers, four (4) LOFIR air dampers, two (2) CO monitors, six (6) O2 probes, one (1) Reheat Spray Valve, one (1) Reheat Block Valve, one (1) Reheat Spray Flow transmitter, one (1) Superheat Block Valve, one (1) Superheat Spray Flow transmitter, four (4) new drives for the mill exhauster dampers and four (4) new drives for the mill coal air dampers.

3. Unit #6 (Design/Engineering) - NOx Burner Modifications involved the addition of four (4) SOFA air dampers, four (4) LOFIR air dampers, two (2) CO monitors, six (6) O2 probes, one (1) Reheat Spray Valve, one (1) Reheat Block Valve, one (1) Reheat Spray Flow transmitter, one (1) Superheat Block Valve, one (1) Superheat Spray Flow transmitter, four (4) new drives for the mill exhauster dampers and four (4) new drives for the mill coal air dampers.  4. Chemistry Lab (Design/Engineering) - Upgraded the chemistry monitoring laboratory environment system which utilizes in-line process analytical instruments for the desired chemical analysis of multiple sample streams from each of Riverbend Steam Station's units (4). Individual sample streams are selectively sequenced to the respective analyzers using DCS controlled multi-port manifold solenoid valves. The Cation Conductivity signal from each sensor is multiplexed via relay/WDPF logic to provide alternating input to each unit Specific analyzer.
