Unit #6 (Design/Engineering) - NOx Burner Modifications
involved the addition of four (4) SOFA air dampers, four (4)
LOFIR air dampers, two (2) CO monitors, six (6) O2 probes,
one (1) Reheat Spray Valve, one (1) Reheat Block Valve, one
(1) Reheat Spray Flow transmitter, one (1) Superheat Block
Valve, one (1) Superheat Spray Flow transmitter, four (4)
new drives for the mill exhauster dampers and four (4) new
drives for the mill coal air dampers. 4.
Chemistry Lab (Design/Engineering) - Upgraded the chemistry
monitoring laboratory environment system which utilizes in-line
process analytical instruments for the desired chemical analysis
of multiple sample streams from each of Riverbend Steam Station's
units (4). Individual sample streams are selectively sequenced
to the respective analyzers using DCS controlled multi-port
manifold solenoid valves. The Cation Conductivity signal from
each sensor is multiplexed via relay/WDPF logic to provide
alternating input to each unit Specific analyzer.
