Safety is at the heart of everything we do. From our initial design, throughout the construction process, to the final delivery of the building and beyond, we think safety.
At WB Moore, safety is a thread that runs throughout everything we do. We don’t encourage our team to work safely. We demand they do.
“This is our company culture—one of safety—and this is what clients expect when they hire us.”
-- Billy Graves, President
You see, it is crucial to design and build electrical systems (from the simplest to the most complex) with safety in mind. It is just as important for the entire construction process to be the safest possible.
On any job site, we see two different crews. There is WB Moore, the team installing the electrical infrastructure, and there is everyone else. We want our team to be trained and knowledgeable about how to install the system safely. But, we also have to look out for other contractors doing other work. Their safety is as important to us as our own crews.
For more than 20 years we have built buildings and, just as importantly, relationships through our commitment to quality, integrity and safety. The expectation of best practices in safety in electrical contracting—from site, to training, to recognition—has created a top-down culture in which we live and breathe safety day-to-day, job-to-job, employee-to-employee.
Our commitment to safety has been recognized a number of times by our industry.
To ensure this continues, we engage every member of our team in a continuous process of training. Through coordinated efforts with the Carolinas Associated General Contractors, WB Moore students receive accredited training by the National Center for Construction Education & Research for craft-worker training. Students in the program are tested on their skills at the completion of each module.
