Our state-registered Apprenticeship Program, offered in partnership with Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) and other North Carolina community colleges, is a fast-track to becoming a skilled electrician while earning a paycheck.

Whether you’re starting your career or ready to take the next step in the electrical trade, this program combines hands-on training with college-level instruction to give you the skills, certifications, and confidence to succeed.

Financial Support

Pathways Beyond Graduation

Graduates may pursue a North Carolina Electrical License or continue toward an Associate in Applied Science in Electrical Systems Technology with credits earned during the program.

Who Can Join the Program

The WB Moore Apprenticeship Program is available to current WB Moore employees who:

  • Have been employed with WB Moore for at least 3–6 months
  • Hold a high school diploma or GED
  • Receive a recommendation from a WB Moore supervisor

Not yet part of WB Moore?
Apply for one of our open electrical positions — eligible employees can apply for the apprenticeship program after meeting initial requirements.
