25 Years of Commitment: WB Moore’s 2025 SafetyFEST

On October 10, WB Moore employees came together to celebrate a major milestone, the 25th annual SafetyFEST. This year’s theme, Your Safety—Don’t Give It Away: 25 Moore & Going Strong, reflected both our unwavering dedication to workplace safety and the proud tradition of keeping safety at the heart of everything we do. 

A Quarter Century of SafetyFEST 

What started as a company-wide safety day has grown into one of WB Moore’s most anticipated annual traditions. For 25 years, SafetyFEST has united our field teams, office staff, and leadership around a shared mission: ensuring that every employee goes home safe at the end of the day.  

This year’s milestone served as a reminder of how far we’ve come. Our culture of safety is not only a core value; it’s a differentiator in the industry. Customers rely on it, families depend on it, and our entire team takes pride in it. 

Keynote Speaker: Kina Hart 

One of the most impactful moments of the day came from keynote speaker Kina Hart, a nationally recognized workplace safety advocate. Kina shared her personal story of losing her arm in a preventable workplace accident and spoke about how every employee has the power to make safe choices. Her message reinforced our theme by reminding us that safety is something you should never “give away.” 

Her presentation was both inspiring and eye-opening, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. 

Training, Innovation, and Engagement 

SafetyFEST isn’t just about inspiration; it’s also about action. Throughout the day, WB Moore employees rotated through interactive, hands-on training stations covering essential topics such as fall protection, lockout/tagout, fire safety, and the GiveMOORE community rotation. These sessions offered teams the chance to strengthen their knowledge, ask questions, and connect directly with WB Moore’s safety leaders.

We also welcomed our vendor partners, who showcased the latest safety gear, innovations, and technology designed to make jobsites safer and more efficient. Their demonstrations gave employees an up-close look at the tools and resources that help keep safety at the forefront of everything we do

And as always, our Safety Committee played a vital role in bringing the day together. Their ongoing efforts to promote engagement, awareness, and education help make SafetyFEST, and our overall safety culture, such a success. We’re grateful for their dedication to keeping safety at the forefront for every WB Moore employee and their families.
