WB Moore was excited to be chosen for the revitalization project of the Kannapolis Infrastructure & Streetscape in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

Our scope of work for the water feature included doing the electrical installation for the Water Feature. That included the installation of conduit and wire from the electrical panel in the Mechanical room to the VFD control panel, conduit and wire from the VFD control panel to seven (7) feature pump assemblies, conduit and wire from the electrical panel to the Muriatic Acid Storage and Delivery System, conduit and wire from the electrical panel to the Chemical Room, all exposed raceways in Chemical Room shall be type GRC and liquid tight flexible metallic conduit, one (1) 1” empty raceway for control to each pump, one (1) 30amp circuit to each Water Feature Basin, two (1) 1” raceways with pull strings for controls to each Water Feature Basin, and all wiring was installed EMT/PVC per the specifications and MC Cable where allowable per the NEC. The Scope also included all underground wiring (demo and new installation), electrical power distribution, power distribution for the irrigation controllers, provide and install all Site Lighting for the Streetscape, and provide all Convenience Power and USB Charging Stations throughout the street. This included all conduit, raceways, wire, devices, panel, breakers, and final terminations. During this process our Team was responsible for scheduling all inspections and surveying, and testing fees. Our Team completed the project while maintaining the integrity of specific historical features of the downtown area.
