Project Highlight: One South Athletic Club

In the heart of uptown Charlotte, located inside of the One South building, you will find the newly renovated One South Athletic Club. This renovation consists of 30,000 SF of premier modern fitness and wellness space, with luxury finishes. The space includes state-of-the-art fitness equipment, pickleball courts, basketball court, full-service locker rooms, and more.

WB Moore was pleased to provide the electrical portion of this job. The scope includes Temporary Power and Lighting (set up and demo); Building Lighting System, which includes the installation lamps, fixtures, hardware, mounting supports, wire connections, etc.; Lighting Control (wall switches and occupancy sensors; Branch Power System; Convenience Power, providing and installing all conduit, devices, cover plates, junction boxes, wire terminations, etc. to facilitate a complete operational system.

Also included in the scope was Fire Alarm Audio/Visual devices, as well as start-up commissioning and demonstration of the equipment with operating team and owner’s representative, and LV Systems (Voice/Data/AV/Security). All work was performed during normal business hours, and completed meeting all requirements with NEC, OSHA, and WB Moore Safety Standards.
